Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond is purely recreational level. This PADI Rescue Diver rating is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership training (Dive Master, Assistant Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor).
Although the course is designed to be enjoyable, the nature and context in which such training may be used is quite serious. The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, manage diving-accident situations, render proper first aid and qualify for PADI Dive Master training.
The course consists out of:
* 4 theory sections and exam
* 10 practical exercises and two "like real scenario's

Prerequisite
Certification: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent and Medic First Aid. For people from an other trainings agency (SSS, IDD, CMAS,...) equivalency is defined as proof of certification beyond entry level; and a minimum of 20 logged dives documenting experience in the following areas: deep and navigation.
minimum age: 15
Minimum Open Water Training: 5 sessions over min. 2 days
