Diving Impressions

Green Island bay was in the early days of Cousteau named as one of the best and most amazing places he ever visited. The bay has hundreds of coral atolls with some of them reaching the surface creating sandbars and islands.  Reef island, later named coco-loco Island after the beach resort, is one of these islands.

Divers

The coral sand is soft and white in contrast with the blue sea and green background. DALL dive centre was lucky to get his base here. Most of the dive sides around the island are beautiful healthy coral gardens starting at 2-8m depth which then slopes to a sandy bottom at 18-22m.

Muskat

The reefs

have great colours due to a multitude of  feather stars in all shades, sponges in all shapes and soft & hard corals in different colours. The house reefs are great for macro fanatics. They house plenty of weird and tiny reef creatures and the night dives (and we really do night diving not sunset dives) are just incredible. Some of divers most wanted creatures like seahorse, ghost pipefish,  frogfish, mantashrimps, gobies, worms, crabs, shrimps, Spanish dancer and other nudi branches,  are just in front of the DS.

Corals

The coral atolls

which we dive on are reachable within 30 minutes and have a rich diversity in underwater fauna and flora. We have many dive sites and at least twice as much unexplored. Most of the times we go out per dive, leaving the divers free to pursue other great activities or enjoy the islands beauty in between. on these reefs you will find colourfull gardens composed of corals, gorgonian, sea fans, and black coral trees with their cardinal, raiser and damselfish.

Nemo + Anemone

The white beaches

are attracting different kinds of turtles for breeding even dugongs and dolphins are present in this bay.    The Sulu Sea and the near of Tubbataha are the warranty to the rich diversity. It would be  impossible to list what we can see during a dive but bluespotted & marble rays, mappa & other puffer fish, lions-scorpion-stonefish, together with 7 species of anemone & angel fish are very common. .
