Charter and Cruise Conditions
On this page you can find all conditions for your trip to the Tubbataha Reef.
Tubbataha Reef Diving-Price
The price for the trip is 1495 Us Dollars per person. You can book this trip, by downloading this form and sending it by fax to us:
Booking
A berth is not booked until the completed and signed booking form has reached the DALL agency with a min. 30% deposit of the total price of the cruise and the invoice has been dispatched. (bank transfer fees not included at cost of the client) Deposits of 50% and a balance paid 60 days prior departure will entitle the client for a discount.
***when the client is not paying the 50% deposit and later the remaining balance 60days before departure, he will pay the full booking price without any discount prior to departure.***
Balance of Charter Fees
The client undertakes to pay 30% or 50% deposit on the whole of the total price for the required cruise. The balance of the booking deposit must be paid to the agency at least 60days before the date of commencement of the cruise. (bank tranfer fees not included at cost of the client)
***when the client is not paying the 50% deposit and balance 60days before departure, he will pay the full charter price without any discount prior to departure***
Cancellation or Modification
If after booking should the client be unable to take over his berth, he must notify the DALL agency immediately in writing by FAX followed by a registered letter when every effort will be made to recharter the berth. If successful the agency will cancel the whole fee, refunding the deposit and/or the total price less the agency expenses.
The expenses for cancellation are as follows:
- -30% of the deposit if cancelled more than 90days before the takeover.
- - 45% of the deposit if cancelled between 89 to 45days before the takeover.
- - 60% of the deposit if cancelled between 45 to 59days before the takeover.
- - No refund of the deposit if cancelled between 30 to 44days before the takeover.
- - Under 30days before the takeover, the client has to pay the whole price of the cruise.
- The last option, free of charge, is to re-schedule your trip provided free berths are still available. It is recommended to take out a Cancellation-Insurance.
Non-Availability
Should the yacht not be available at due time (for example: owing to engine trouble or damage...) the deposit or charter fees paid will be returned in full to the client, without any further responsibility whatsoever to the DALL agency or the Captain of the yacht. A back-up solution is always possible with your agreement.
Early Return
Should the yacht have to return or can not fulfill the itinerary of the trip, due to bad weather mechanical problems or any other case, the missing diving or snorkeling days will be paid back at 130$/day for divers and 80$/day non divers, to the client, (travel days not incl.) without any further responsibility whatsoever to the DALL agency or the Captain of the yacht... A back-up solution is always possible with your agreement.
Occupancy Rate
Should the yacht not have a 60% occupancy rate for the selected cruise, the deposit or charter fees paid will be returned in full to the client, without any further responsibility whatsoever to the DALL agency or the Captain of the yacht.
Now in case you would like anyway to charter the boat with more privacy, some percentage will be calculated and added to the daily charter fees per person to compensate our fixed and variable running costs according to the amount of passengers.
Late Return
Although every effort will be made to return on time the clients to the given port of disembarkation, neither the Captain nor the DALL agency is under any liability in respect of extra travel expenses incurred as a result of delay (for example: owing to bad weather conditions or damages...). However, the agency will make efforts to ensure that clients affected by this suffer the minimum of inconvenience.
Food
The cruises are full board (mineral water, softdrinks, beer and alcohol not included). Hot drinks like coffee & tea are free and at will. Distilled water is free as well. The menus are essentially composed of fresh fish and seafood, meat and chicken served with rice or potatoes. The kitchen is mixed European/Filipino to allow you to taste the local dishes. Fresh salads and fruits will be available free of charge. Any special diet (because of allergy or relegious belief) is possible if required when you book the trip and of course and if the ingredients are available locally.
Captain
The Captian is in command of the yacht and his decisions must be considered as final.
Drugs and Weapons
It is strictly forbidden to have & use drugs and/or weapons on board. The Captain can disembark any offender without refund of the cruise. He reserves the right to inform the local Authorities if necessary in the interest of the other passengers.
Insurances
The yacht carried a fully comprehensive policy with third-party indemnity. However, neither the DALL agency nor the Captain personally is under any liability for neither loss nor injury to clients. It is recommended to take out a Travel Cancellation-Insurance. For the divers, DAN insurance is compulsory and could be arranged with us.
Included In The Price:
Tranfer Airport/hotel to pier in Puerto Princesa and back( as stated in the contract)
1 master room with dubble and 2 single bed , 1 dubble bed master room, 2 cabbins with 2 single beds all have private CR/shower and are air conditioned
Full board: buffet meals+snacks & hot drinks
for dive cruises: unlimited no-deco day+night dives, weights tanks with air fills.
Dive master assistance.
Pick-up by chase boat with outboard motor and gasoline
Not Included in the Price:
Hotel in Manila & any Domestic Flight to Puerto Princesa.
Softdrinks, beers & alcohols & sealed mineral water. Cork charge (5 us$) for any bottle of spirit or wine brought on board by customers
Any diving course, (advanced 190$) Dive Computer (10 US$/day), Dive lights (5US$/dive)
Rental of full Diving gear upon request (10US$/day)
Medical oxygen (5 US$/hr)
Personal DAN insurance recommended for certified divers. (See Section Booking)
Tips for the crew
Personal entrance fee: 3000pesos for the National Marine Park Authority
Additional Information for Tubbataha cruises
PADI Advanced diver or equivalent is compulsory (you can pass the course during the cruise). A dive computer is mandatory if you like to make 5 dives a day.
If necessary, we have a Check-up dive before departure.
Minimum Occupancy rate of 60% - if less contact our booking office
-For non-scuba-divers: Sea kayak and snorkeling pportunities are excellent!
- During the summer the trip schedules for Tubbataha Reef are not flexible unless reserved at least 6 months in advance.
-Special itinerary or shorter or longer trips can be arranged(more than 7days possible by combining two sailing schedules)
Scope Of The Trip:
Day 1: on your arrival at Puerto Princesa airport, you will be fetched by vans arranged by M/B Caren Joy. Your luggage and dive gear will be directly sent to Caren Joy You will be brought to a restaurant for welcome drink, lunch. Paperwork, last payment if any and safety briefing. Caren joy will depart for Tubbataha Reefs at approximately 8 pm. Your first meal on board will be dinner on date of departure.
Day 2 : First day of diving
Dive Sites: Jessey Beasely Reef, North Tubbataha. Wall Street Amos
Day 3 : Second day of diving
Dive Sites: North Tubbataha, Malayan wreck, Terraces, Sea Alley, Shark Airport
Day 4 : Third day of diving
Dive Sites: North Tubbataha, Washing Machine North Islet, Rangers Station, BBQ on the beach possible
Day 5 : Fourth day of diving
Dive Sites: South Tibbataha, Black Rock, T wreck
Day 6 : Fifth day of diving
Dive Sites: South Tubbataha, Delson wreck, South Islet, Ko-ok
Return to Puerto Princesa, Palawan at 5pm
Day 7 Arrive at Puerto Princesa Pier at 4 am
Disembark from boat at 7am
